See the dolphins in Zanzibar and continue the day with an island picnic and snorkeling. This day excursion takes you to the Indian Ocean to meet the dolphins, relax and enjoy the nature.
We are happy to re-launch the Zanzibar dolphin tour after finding a way to operate it ethically. The boat captains are specially trained to operate sustainably and respectfully towards the dolphins. Since we cannot guarantee that you meet the dolphins (no-one can), we make sure you enjouy your day by including a picnic opn the Invisible Island and snorkeling in the nearby coral reefs.
Dolphin safari offers you the experience of a lifetime, a chance to see the dolphins and even swim with them, if the environment allows. The seashore of the fishing village Kizimkazi is the home of several pods of humpback and bottlenose dolphins. The dolphins are officially protected by the 420 km2 Menai Bay Conservation Area, which was set up in 1997 to stop the rapid depletion of fish stocks.
The chance to see the dolphins is around 80%. They are free animals, and we respect that.
You will always have the chance to snorkel the reefs, even if there is no opportunity to swim with dolphins.
To add more to your day, we have included a picnic on the Invisible Island to the tour. You get to enjoy the beauty of Indian Ocean, eat picnic lunch and swim in the beautiful beach and surrounding ocean.
